Frequently Asked Questions

What is Hypnosis?  Hypnosis the introduction of positive suggestions while a person is in Trance State.  Trance State is a natural brain wave pattern (Theta) that we go in and out of on a regular basis.  For example, when you drive to work or school and donít remember the drive ñ you were in Trance State.

Who can be Hypnotized?  Although everyone is capable of being hypnotized, strong willed individuals respond best to hypnosis.

Do I ever lose control of my mind or will?  Absolutely not!  You are always in control.  When in trance, the only time you can be made to do anything you donít want to do is in a Hollywood movie or TV show.  During hypnosis, you are aware - and in control.

Can I get stuck in Hypnosis?  NO!  You can come out of Trance State anytime you wish.  Most people enjoy the profound relaxation so much, they choose to remain in Hypnosis as long as possible.  The worst case scenario is that you could drift into a deep sleep, from which you would awaken when rested.
